FENIX HL55 - Headlamp

Fenix HL55 is an extremely powerful headlamp that offers a light output of up to 900 lumens and a range of 116 meters. It can be powered by either two CR123A lithium batteries or a single high-capacity li-ion battery type 18650. The light source is a high-end Cree XM-L2 T6 LED with a warmer shade of light (neutral white). The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting colour rendering in nature.

The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to IPX-8 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. A total of 5 power modes are available with up to 150 hours of runtime. The headlamp is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the batteries are slowly discharging).

The Fenix HL55 headlamp is particularly suitable for cross-country skiing, night running, cycling, fishing, caving and other activities. All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Power Modes:
BURST 900 lumens (switches to previous light mode after 30s) -> 420 lumens (3.75 hours) -> 165 lumens (10 hours) -> 55 lumens (30 hours) -> 10 lumens (150 hours).

Use
Assemble the headlamp according to the pictures in the enclosed English manual, pay particular attention to the correct use of the head strap, if assembled incorrectly the strap may loosen spontaneously. The headlamp is switched on by pressing the button, once switched on the light modes are switched again by pressing the button. Switching off is achieved by holding the button for half a second. To activate the BURST mode, hold the button for one second (works even when the headlamp is off), after 30 seconds the headlamp will return to the previous power mode.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, it will violate the warranty. Use only good quality batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example due to battery leakage. Remove the batteries from the flashlight if you will not be using it for a long time or if the batteries are already dead. Otherwise, some inferior batteries may damage the headlamp. If the headlamp blinks or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: the batteries are almost dead - replace them. The headlamp cap is loose - tighten it. The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
