  • The ultra-powerful Fenix LR50R rechargeable flashlight delivers extreme lumen output of up to 12,000 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 950 meters. It achieves its performance with four powerful Luminus SST-70 LEDs with a 50,000-hour light life, powered by an internal high-current Li-ion battery with a 57.6 Wh capacity.

The battery is recharged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector. The flashlight offers dual-button control, which separately controls steady and flash modes.

The flashlight is equipped with indicator LEDs that show the battery charge status. In addition, the flashlight can also be used as an emergency power bank to charge other USB devices. The body of the flashlight is also equipped with a tripod thread, so it can be mounted on a tripod and used as a stationary light.

Despite its enormous power, the flashlight retains a surprisingly compact size, measuring just 16.3 centimeters in length and weighing 980 grams including the battery pack. This searchlight is particularly suitable for rescue and reconnaissance operations. However, it is also well suited for surveillance of large objects or for all flashlight enthusiasts.

The proximity sensor in the reflector automatically reduces the power to 50 lumens when the flashlight gets closer to an object than about 6-8 centimeters (prevents damage to the object by strong light and glare from reflected light). The electronics are equipped with a protection function against too deep discharge of the batteries, when the voltage drops below a certain threshold it automatically switches to a lower power mode.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Package contents: flashlight, ARB-L52-16000 battery, USB-C charging cable, belt pouch, lanyard and replacement o-rings.

Warranty: five years on the flashlight and two years on the battery pack.

    Use
From the factory there may be an insulating cap on the battery. Before first use, remove it.
Holding the right button for 0.5 seconds will turn the flashlight on to the last set steady light mode. Further presses to switch between power modes, holding the button again turns the flashlight off. Holding down the left button switches the torch to the highest mode of 12000 lumens, further presses of the left button activate the strobe and then the SOS. The right button can be pressed to return to the last steady light mode.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold them for at least 3 seconds, then the flashlight will flash to indicate locking. To unlock, both buttons must be held down again for three seconds. Accidental switching on can also be prevented by loosening the flashlight body.
    Charging
Remove the rubber cap of the charging connector and plug the cable into the USB-C connector in the flashlight. The indicator LEDs will flash from left to right to show the charging status. Only the 50 lumen mode can be turned on while charging. When charging is complete, seal the connector thoroughly with the rubber cap. Not only regular USB adapters and powerbanks can be used for charging, but also fast charging adapters with PD3.0/PD2.0, QC3.0/QC2 protocol will be automatically detected.
Charge external USB devices (powerbank function) - flip off the rubber cap of the USB connector and connect the device you want to charge with a suitable USB cable. To activate the powerbank function, briefly press one of the control buttons. Once charging has started, the indicator LEDs will start flashing from right to left to show the battery status. The maximum discharge currents are 2A. When charging is complete, be sure to properly seal the USB connector with the rubber cap.
Battery charge status indication - after briefly pressing any button, the indication LEDs will light up for 8 seconds to show the battery charge status (flashlight must be off). Four lit LEDs indicate the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.
Intelligent overheat protection - when the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the flashlight will automatically reduce the power in small steps up to 3000 lumens, after cooling down the power will automatically increase again. Operation at the highest Turbo mode (12000 lumens) is timed for 20 seconds, after which the flashlight will reduce power to 8000 lumens for 60 seconds. If the second highest setting (6000 lumens) is selected for longer than 60 seconds, the power is then reduced to 4000 lumens within 60 seconds.
The proximity sensor in the reflector will automatically reduce the power to 50 lumens when the flashlight comes within approximately 6-8 centimeters of an object (to prevent damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light).
    Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
If the battery is dead, charge it.
The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
The body is loose, tighten it.
