Fenix C7 is a high-performance rechargeable torch that offers a light output of up to 3000 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 470 metres. The excellent performance is achieved by using the modern Luminus SST-70 LED. Power is supplied by a high-capacity Li-ion battery type 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh (included), which is charged directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector.

The torch was designed with simple operation and wide usability in mind. Seven lighting functions let you choose between high output and long runtime of almost three days. There is also a dazzling strobe and an SOS signal for emergency situations. The Fenix C7 is powered by digitally controlled constant current to guarantee stable light output even as the battery voltage drops (during gradual discharge).

Switching on and changing modes is very easy and is done with an ergonomically positioned side button. The tail cap is magnetic, so it can be easily attached to anything made of iron. The torch is an ideal lighting tool with an excellent ratio of high performance, quality and price.

Use
From the factory, there may be an insulating cover on the battery inside the torch. Remove it from the battery before first use. To switch on or off, hold the side button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch between the 30 - 100 - 400 - 1400 - 3000 lumen modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. Start the strobe by pressing the button for 1.2 seconds (also possible from the off state); subsequent presses switch between strobe and SOS modes.
Charging - lift the rubber cover of the charging port on the side of the torch and connect the supplied cable (USB-C connector); plug the other end of the cable into a computer, or a USB mains or car adapter. During charging, the indicator LED lights red. When fully charged, it lights green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approx. 3 hours (with a 2A power supply).
Intelligent overheating protection - if the torch temperature rises above 60°C, it will automatically reduce output in gradual steps; once the temperature drops below 60°C, the output will gradually increase again.
Battery charge status indication - after a short press of the button (torch must be off), the LED indicator in the button activates. If the indicator diode lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Flashing green means 50-85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 25-50%. Flashing red indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining.
Button lock - to prevent accidental activation in luggage, quickly press the button twice within 0.5 seconds (torch must be off); the torch will then flash twice in low mode and cannot be switched on. Unlock by quickly double-pressing the button again. Accidental activation can also be prevented by loosening the torch’s battery cap.
Low battery warning - the side button starts flashing red and the torch will gradually and automatically switch to the lowest mode.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself; doing so will void the warranty.
Use only quality 21700 Li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the torch, for example due to battery leakage.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these rules will ensure the torch is properly protected against water.
If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher output, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is discharged; recharge it.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The torch body is loose; tighten it.
