Our Bluestrait Lady ES is a safe winter shoe with a non-slip sole. Fiberglass-reinforced grip inserts embedded in the Fiberbrake outsole ensure that its wear zones provide an unparalleled level of traction. The specially formulated winter rubber compound remains, soft, pliable and grippy even in sub-zero temperatures.In addition, the aggressive tread pattern on the outer edges of the sole provides excellent traction in loose snow or slush. And the 3D construction of the IPU midsole ensures a perfect fit and allows the foot to roll efficiently for a smooth ride. Its three-dimensional structure is made of stabilizing 3D injection molded polyurethane (IPU) and expanded polyurethane (PU). A raised outsole edge provides more support on all sides and in the heel.To keep your feet dry, the Bluestrait Lady ES has a PFC-free PU membrane with a rugged three-layer laminate construction. The outer side of the upper has an additional PFC-free waterproof treatment and its soft inner lining fabric is made from 70% recycled polyester. The comfortable and breathable insole is made up of a combination of odour-fighting, insulating merino wool (no mulesing) and fully recycled PU foam made from offcuts. Long-lasting and resource-saving: we combine high-quality natural Perwanger suede leather with terracare® nubuck leather from the Josef Heinen tannery and 100% recycled upper fabric.
