The backpack can be strapped to your body with a belt, which is very important as it stabilizes the whole load. The strap is removable. The backpack is suitable for all mountaineering and ski mountaineering enthusiasts. The perfect feature of the backpack is that it has a removable top, so you can take it off as needed to lighten your load, which will also help your neck.

Smaller backpacks of this type have minimal weather and compression protection, but not the Variant 52! Thanks to the built-in FlapJacket, it can provide protection not only against the weather but also your gear, which is fully compressed at all times.

Twin ice-tool pouch can hold any kind of climbing axes and keeps them securely between two layers. Depending on your needs on a particular day or route, you also have the option to lighten the pack by removing the attachments from the original 1.53kg to 630g.

The Varant 37 is almost identical to its slightly larger Varant 52 counterpart, so the only difference is in dimensions and weight, see technical specs below.
