The largest backpack from the TEMPEST series from the world-famous backpack manufacturer OSPREY. The Tempest 40 is a lightweight, comfortable, durable and extremely versatile backpack with a cleverly designed AirScape™ back system that, combined with the waist belt, increases airflow and ensures a very comfortable fit. The backpack offers a specifically women's fit, with an ergonomically shaped waist belt, harness and back.

The backpack has an adjustable back length and features innovative solutions such as the Stow-on-the-Go™ system for attaching trekking poles or an ice axe. The InsideOut™ compression straps are great for stabilizing your cargo.

Pockets on each side allow quick and easy access to smaller items. On the top of the lid you'll find another conveniently located pocket ideal for gloves, hats, maps. Then on the front of the pack is a large PowerMesh™ pocket, perfect for wet jackets or an extra layer of clothing.

Unlike smaller models, the Tempest 40 features a removable top lid with two pockets, removable camper straps, a lightweight perimeter frame, and you can even get in through the zipper.
