Advanced Composite Technology
In our own carbon processing factory, we use high-quality raw carbon with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to produce custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and cured in a mold as a single continuous piece (monocoque) using a patented manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Compact Road Design
When Giant introduced its Compact Road design in the 1990s, it forever changed the look and feel of performance road bikes. The sloping top tube (from the head tube to the seat tube) creates a smaller front and rear triangle, resulting in a lighter and stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of different proportions to achieve the ideal riding position.

D-Fuse seatpost
The D-Fuse seatpost is designed to dampen vibrations and absorb shocks from the road surface for a more comfortable ride. It works by flexing slightly under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.

OverDrive
The oversize front fork steerer tube technology is designed to increase the stiffness of the front end of the frame set and steering for precise bike control. It features oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" bottom and 1 1/8" top for road bikes, and 1 1/2" bottom and 1 1/8" top for MTB bikes) and a tapered steerer tube for optimal steering stiffness.
