Versatile, comfortable and affordable road bike designed for all female cyclists with a thirst for adventure – that’s the Avail AR. This bike is designed to open up new possibilities for you – thanks to the right geometry and wider tyres, you don’t have to limit yourself to smooth tarmac, and you can plan your route along farm tracks or rougher roads too.

The Avail AR is built on a modern, lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame with internal cable routing and an integrated seat clamp. The frame geometry creates a comfortable endurance riding position. ALUXX frames, made from a high-quality aluminium alloy in our own factory, deliver high stiffness and strength at a low weight. A composite (carbon) fork provides better vibration damping and helps reduce hand fatigue.

ALUXX Aluminium Technology A frame material focused on performance cycling, featuring 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes. It’s used to produce strong, lightweight framesets for different types of bikes and riding styles.
	Compact Road Design When Giant introduced Compact Road design in the 1990s, it changed the look and ride feel of performance road bikes for good. The sloping top tube (from head tube to seat tube) creates a smaller front triangle and, consequently, a smaller rear triangle, resulting in a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders with different proportions to achieve an ideal fit.
D-Fuse Seatpost The D-Fuse seatpost is designed to damp vibrations and absorb shocks from the road surface to make riding more comfortable. It works by flexing slightly under load thanks to its distinctive “D” shape.
	OverDrive This oversized fork steerer technology is designed to increase the stiffness of the front end and steering for precise handling. It includes oversized headset bearings (lower 1 1/4" and upper 1 1/8" on road bikes, and lower 1 1/2" and upper 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and a tapered fork steerer to ensure optimal steering stiffness.

The frame is designed to provide high comfort, even on roads and tracks with rougher surfaces. Comfort is further enhanced by the D-Fuse composite seatpost, which, thanks to its distinctive “D” shape, allows slight flex to help damp vibrations. The handlebars (on the Avail AR 1 model) are based on the same principle: they flex slightly downwards to help reduce hand fatigue, while remaining highly stiff upwards.

Disc brakes offer higher performance and better modulation than rim brakes, improving control even in changeable weather. The brakes are mounted using flat mounts, and 12 mm thru-axles ensure the required stiffness. Wider tyres with a fine tread pattern add confidence, and they’re also tubeless – this technology reduces the risk of punctures and improves ride characteristics.
