PETZL Asap´Sorber 20 Fall arrestor

The ASAP’SORBER fall arrester is a compact safety device designed for working at heights. It is used exclusively in combination with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester and allows the user to work at a certain distance from the rope. This protects the rope during more demanding work operations.

The arrester is equipped with a breakaway lanyard housed in a robust, removable case. It is available in two lengths, allowing the user to choose the optimal ratio between the short fall distance and the sufficient distance from the rope for the specific work situation.

1. Progressive reduction of the impact force
The lanyard is progressively pulled out during the fall, which distributes the impact force over time and reduces the load on the user’s body.
2. Protection and easy maintenance
The robust textile cover protects the breakaway lanyard from abrasion and dirt, and the case can be easily opened for regular inspections and can be replaced if it wears out prematurely.
