WOOL: Due to its thermal insulation properties, wool is often used in the production of modern insulating layers of clothing. Wool is characterised by its high absorbency and elasticity, but its immediate insulating properties are its greatest potential, which is most appreciated when you need to warm up quickly. This property is due to the structure of the individual fibres, between which there are tiny air pockets that create a perfect insulating effect. Wool fleece thicker than 34 microns can absorb a lot of moisture, keeping you warm in cold and wet conditions.
