LIFESAVER WAYFARER - water filter

The robust yet compact LIFESAVER WAYFARER water filter reliably removes 99.99% of all bacteria and viruses from water. It also dramatically reduces the content of heavy metals, chemicals and microplastics. This makes it possible to drink from natural water sources on the go without worry.

The device can purify up to 5000 litres of water (depending on the degree of contamination) and can thus serve the traveller on a daily basis for up to 8.5 years. The output of 1.4 liters of filtered water per minute does not require any lengthy waiting. Thanks to its compact size (15.5 x 75 x 90 mm), WAYFARER fits easily into a backpack pocket.

The pump's rotating handle accommodates both left- and right-handed users. Thanks to the 1.3 m long suction hose, water can be easily scooped up even in hard-to-reach terrain.

The LIFESAVER technology is based on a two-stage filtration system: first, natural water is pushed through a hollow fibre ultrafiltration unit by a hand pump, which removes all bacteria, viruses, microplastics and particles larger than 0.015 microns ( = 15 nanometres).

In the second stage, the water flows through an activated carbon filter that removes chemicals and heavy metals (chlorine, lead, nickel, cadmium, etc.), greatly improving its taste and smell.

Thanks to Failsafe™ technology, the system locks itself when it reaches the end of its life, thus not endangering the user. The LIFESAVER WAYFARER water filter is the result of LIFESAVER's 15 years of experience in water filtration. The product therefore also complies with the strictest NSF/ANSI P231 standards.
