Vulpine is the latest racing addition to WTB's popular gravel tyre range. The tightly spaced center pattern forms a nearly uninterrupted center line to reduce rolling resistance, while the rest of the tread is full of short lugs to further increase efficiency, minimize the chance of punctures, and provide predictable cornering traction.
Vulpine prioritizes maximum efficiency without sacrificing traction on climbs or under braking. It is the perfect tire for gravel racers and everyday riders looking for a great tire that will excel on many surfaces.

New WTB - SG2
In addition to its light weight, the SG2 tire protector provides excellent puncture and puncture protection. These tyres have a high 120 TPI value - or threads per inch - which represents the density of fibres in the tyre carcass. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire surface of the tire from bead to bead. So you can hit any surface without worrying about punctures.
How much more durable are the new tires with SG2? Lab tests show that the addition of SG2 protection provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tires without SG2. Gravel rides are becoming more frequent and longer. Riders won't shy away from challenging terrain. That's why WTB has come up with durable tires that will hold up on any surface.
Wilderness Trail Bikes (WTB) is currently one of the largest manufacturers of bicycle tires, rims and saddles in the world. The WTB range of tyres specialises in off-road cycling. Thus you will find many tyres for trekking, cross-country, trail, enduro or downhill.
In recent years, the popularity of gravel bikes has been growing and WTB offers the largest number of tyres of different patterns and widths for this category of cyclist of all current brands. WTB was founded on ideas and visions about products that no one knew about until then, and they continue to do so today, still setting the direction of where mountain biking is going today.
