The Viking 1200's hood is more enclosed than lighter versions and the overall construction, including the height of the chambers, is designed to withstand more winter conditions.
The Viking sleeping bags have a split drawstring hood combined with a flat cord in the head section and a round cord in the front. Which allows ideal adjustment of each part separately, even in the dark by feel.
