2. 3D-PRINTED PADDING - Fizik Adaptive 3D-printed padding has expanded into the Antares family, creating the perfect saddle for those who want exceptional, long-lasting comfort on a low-profile performance saddle designed to allow a greater sense of connection for optimal pedaling efficiency and power transfer.

ZONED TO THE MEASURE - The development of digital 3D printing has allowed us to develop a new saddle without the constraints and limitations imposed by traditional manufacturing methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding was produced by Carbon® using its revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis™ technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with superior mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.

LABORATORY TESTED, ROAD TESTED - With Carbon® technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented capability: design and manufacture multiple functional zones in the saddle and individually tune each one for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is designed for characteristic cushioning and mechanical response and gradually and seamlessly blends into a single padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure due to improved weight distribution for greater comfort across the entire saddle area.
