The Fizik Vento Antares R1 Light is the lightest race version of the iconic Antares model, which has been part of the Fizik range for more than twenty years. The saddle is designed for road racing, CX and XC and meets the highest demands for low weight, stiffness and efficient power transfer to the pedals.

The low profile with a pronounced transition between the nose and the sides allows easy movement forwards and backwards when climbing, accelerating or riding on the flat. The ergonomic central cut-out, designed on the basis of pressure analyses, reduces pressure on soft tissue and supports better blood flow during intense race efforts.

1. Maximum stiffness for power transfer
   A carbon-reinforced nylon shell combined with stiff carbon rails (7 × 9 mm) creates a firm, responsive platform that ensures direct transfer of every watt to the bike, without losses caused by flex or unsuitable saddle compliance.
2. Low weight without compromising support
   Thanks to minimalist EVA foam padding, the saddle in the 140 mm version weighs just 122 g, while the low-profile cushioning absorbs fine road vibrations without increasing saddle height or disrupting the rider’s contact with the bike.
