The elastic GORE-TEX waterproof membrane combined with the seamless schoeller® soft shell material gives the shoe excellent comfort and a very soft and supple feel. This makes the Ultimate III Mid suitable for wider feet.
The Michelin Compound outsole made of recycled rubber with two different softness compounds, the patented Rolling Concept and the highly cushioning foam make it a flexible all-rounder for technical terrain. Compared to the Ultimate III Low, it offers more stability at the ankle for precise strides over uneven terrain.

Mammut Sports Group AG is a manufacturer of mountaineering and trekking equipment based in Seon, Switzerland. The company was founded in 1862 by Kaspar Tanner in Dintikon.
