The activated carbon filter can be screwed onto the underside of the snap-on cap of LifeSaver 4000UF and 6000UF bottles. Water that has passed through the LifeSaver ultrafiltration cartridge and is free of viruses, cysts and bacteria is filtered through the activated carbon filter before leaving the bottle. This improves the taste of the water and removes odours.
