The all-new aluminum frame not only brings a more modern design and geometry, but also a lighter weight. Also new is a fixed rear axle, which increases the stiffness of the rear wheel-to-frame connection compared to a traditional quick release, and a head tube on the tapered fork post, which makes the bike more stable and easier to handle, especially on rocky descents and "tight" corners. Of course, there are internal bowden guides including a telescopic seatpost and an integrated chainstay protector.

ALUXX Aluminum Technology The frame's performance-focused material features 6061 alloy with single reinforced tubing. It is used to produce strong and lightweight framesets for a variety of bike types and riding styles.

Our ALUXX aluminium frames deliver high rigidity and strength at low weight. The modern "trail" frame geometry is matched to the wheel diameter, which is either 27.5" (sizes XS and S) or 29" (S, M, L). The smaller wheel diameter provides a perfectly balanced ride and excellent handling. Larger wheels roll over bumps more easily, making off-road riding a little more confident and faster. They also have better inertia and excellent traction, for example in corners or under braking.

The Giant SXC32-2 air-sprung fork with 80 or 100 mm travel (depending on wheel size) and a fixed 15x110 mm axle will iron out any bumps with sensitivity. On descents and technical passages, you'll appreciate the handlebar-controlled telescopic seatpost, which makes riding safer and more fun. Wider handlebars for better handling and 2.4" wide tyres for more confidence. For braking, you can rely on hydraulic disc brakes.
