During these years, the strength of the brand kept growing and it became known to an ever-increasing number of cycling enthusiasts worldwide. A significant milestone was 1997, when Trek began working with Lance Armstrong, who two years later won his first Tour de France on a bike from this brand and became the first American to win the Tour in an American team on an American bike. In the new millennium, the brand’s prestige continues to grow. Worth mentioning is the birth of dedicated women’s bikes that meet the strictest parameters so the bikes can perfectly adapt to female anatomy. Between 2000 and 2010, there were many significant acquisitions, entry into the Chinese market, and the creation of international advertising campaigns. In the following years, the company has maintained its place at the top and ranks among the best in its field.
