   The lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane provides reliable waterproof yet breathable protection that keeps you dry on rainy rides and when wading through streams, without adding weight or bulk; the ripstop fabric upper also dries quickly, so the shoes are soon ready to use again.
2. New X2 outsole for maximum grip on the pedal and on the ground
   The X2 outsole combines a grippy Vibram Megagrip rubber compound with a zoned lug pattern – lugs in the midfoot area are lower for better mechanical connection with the pedal, while under the heel and toe the lugs are more aggressive and wider to deliver excellent traction when walking and carrying the bike off-road.
