For cyclocross racing, you need a bike that can handle fast starts, sharp turns, artificial obstacles and passes through sand, mud or even snow. And our legendary TCX cyclocross special is just such a bike, perfectly proven by top racers in the World Cup and other prestigious races.

Advanced Composite frames are made in our own factories from the highest quality raw materials and using advanced manufacturing methods and processes. As a result, they have high stiffness at low weight and provide excellent handling characteristics. The current generation of the TCX Advanced Pro frame is over 17% lighter than the previous one, but of course the high stiffness has been maintained.

Advanced Composite Technology
In our in-house carbon processing factory, we use premium raw carbon with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to produce custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and mold cured as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a patented manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Giant Tubeless System
Fewer flats. Better tire grip. Less rolling resistance, more comfortable and faster ride. With Giant's tubeless system, you can enjoy all these benefits. The rims come with tubeless tape and valves from the factory, so all you have to do is apply sealant and your wheels are fully ready for tubeless.

Compact Road Design
When Giant partnered with the professional racing team ONCE in the 1990s, the wheels were designed to be a perfect fit for the road. In the 1990s, when the ONCE team, in conjunction with ONCE, introduced an all-new road bike design called the Compact Road, it changed the look and feel of racing and performance road bikes forever. The angled lowered top frame tube (from head tube to seat tube) creates a smaller front and subsequently rear frame triangle, achieving a lighter and stiffer bike. Another advantage of the Compact Road geometry is that it makes it easier for riders to achieve the ideal seating position.

OverDrive 2
The most advanced oversize front fork post technology on Giant bikes is designed to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise bike handling. It includes oversize headset bearings (lower 1 1/2" and upper 1 1/4") and a tapered fork post to provide maximum steering stiffness.

Hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful stopping power and smooth modulation, greatly improving bike handling. The brakes are mounted using modern flat mount mounts and 12mm solid axles provide the necessary stiffness. The OverDrive 2's tapered fork post, where the upper headset bearing is 1 ¼" diameter and the lower 1 ½", increases steering stiffness and thus improves the bike's handling.

The D-Fuse SL carbon seatpost, thanks to its specific "D" shape, absorbs vibrations better than a conventional round seatpost, making the ride more comfortable. But the frame is also compatible with a standard 30.9 mm round seatpost - so you can also install a telescopic seatpost on your bike, which you'll appreciate especially on descents.

Founded in 1972, Giant is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world.

Giant is the world's leading brand of high quality bicycles and cycling equipment. As part of the Giant Group, founded in 1972, the Giant brand combines craftsmanship, advanced technology and innovative design.

Giant has long been one of the leading innovators in cycling. They introduced lighter and stronger aluminium frames at a time when steel was the industry standard. They were the first to make carbon fibre bikes widely available to the world. They defined modern road bike design with Compact Road geometry. And the patented Maestro suspension revolutionized the full-suspension bike segment.

WeightUnfortunately, there is no standard for weighing bikes that all manufacturers adhere to, and the weights listed are often inaccurate. To find out the exact weight of a bike in a given size, you need to have the bike weighed at the store, as well as a model from a competing brand – this is the only way to get accurate figures for weight comparison.
