Advanced Composite Technology
In our own carbon processing factory, we use high-end raw carbon with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to produce custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and cured in the mould as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a patented manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Compact Road Design
When Giant introduced a completely new road bike design called Compact Road in the 1990s in cooperation with the professional ONCE racing team, it changed the look and ride feel of racing and performance road bikes forever. The sloping top tube (from head tube to seat tube) creates a smaller front triangle and, consequently, a smaller rear triangle, resulting in a lighter, stiffer bike. Another advantage of Compact Road geometry is that it makes it easier for riders to achieve an ideal riding position.

PowerCore
The massively oversized bottom bracket and chainstay area features a fully integrated 86.5mm-wide bottom bracket design (92mm on MTB bikes). The asymmetric rear triangle provides greater stiffness on the drivetrain side and improved stability on the non-drive side.

The rims come from the factory with tubeless tape and valves, so you only need to add sealant and the wheels are fully ready for tubeless use.

OverDrive Aero
A D-shaped fork steerer passes through the head tube of the new Propel model range. Together with matching shaped spacers, it creates an extremely aerodynamic and easy-to-service system for internally routed brake hoses and gear cables.
