The Slash AL frameset is the basis for the ambitious aluminium enduro bike you've always dreamed of. It features geometry that will finally take on any trail, and a high-riding pivot design that will give you optimal contact with the surface on rough descents and help you overcome high obstacles on steep climbs. It boasts a 170mm RockShox Vivid Select+ rear shock and is ready for the 170mm fork of your choice. You can fit it with a combo wheelset with a 29-inch wheel up front and a 27.5-inch wheel in the rear, or turn it into a pure-bred 29er. It's up to you.
You're planning to ride enduro and want to build an all-around alloy bike that will take you through every trail with grace. You want a bike with big travel that can handle the drops without blinking, then ride up for the next repetition with ease. You're all about versatility, so you want to tweak the geometry to your liking, as well as choose your wheel size.
- Enjoy riding your way. The Slash frameset will serve as a great foundation for your dream bike.
- High-pin suspension allows for uncannily sure handling even in scary downhill passages. Carefully tuned anti-squat combined with large pulleys ensures exceptional pedaling efficiency.
- The handling is in your hands. You can adjust the progressivity of the suspension, and there are optional bowls to adjust the head tube angle.
- You can then ride with either a combined wheel size, 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear, or with 29ers front and rear.
- Thanks to the internal storage in the frame, you'll always have your tools, glue kit and snacks close at hand.
If you spend a lot of time on the trails and want to build an alloy steed that's made for fear, the Slash AL frameset is for you. It can handle everything from enduro to wilderness expeditions, and you can have a blast modifying it. Ride how you like it.

TREK is headquartered in Waterloo, Wisconsin. The family-owned business was founded by Richard Burke in 1976, starting out in a small steel bicycle factory with just five employees. Within a few short years, the company caught on to bicycle trends and continued to grow. In the early 1990s, it began producing bicycles in a then-new material - Carbone. Today, TREK sets the trends in bicycle development and is also considered a leader in the processing of Carbone. Its proprietary processing technology, called OCLV, has been applied in production with many innovations for more than 17 years. TREK bikes have celebrated success at major world races and have been associated with names such as Lance Armstrong, Alberto Contador, Chris Lieto, Roland Green, Chris Eatough, Andrew Shandro and Travis Brown.
