Precise shifting is the foundation of a great riding experience. Choose a quality derailleur that guarantees smooth and reliable shifting under all conditions – for mountain, road, and gravel bikes, and all gear counts.
The rear derailleur moves the chain between the cassette sprockets and is responsible for rear shifting. Its quality and adjustment determine how quickly and accurately you can shift even under load on a hill. A worn-out derailleur shifts inaccurately and skips, so it’s worth replacing it.
When choosing, compatibility with the number of gears and the rest of the drivetrain is key, as well as the derailleur’s capacity and the type of bike it’s designed for. For off-road models, you’ll appreciate the robustness and the chain-stay limiter system.
