    AHAR® (ASICS High Abrasion Resistance Rubber)
    Special high-resistance rubber placed at the most stressed areas of the sole. The new AHAR®+ is significantly softer. It delivers a feeling of comfort on first contact with the ground, superior grip on the unfolding motion and a high level of cushioning. In the rearfoot, the AHAR® features a high carbon content that promotes the durability of the material. AHAR®+ is also integrated in the forefoot, but in foam form (DURASPONGE®) to enhance forefoot comfort. AHAR®+ ensures flexibility, light weight and wear resistance.
