You may encounter all sorts of things on your cycling trips through the countryside, but if you ride our Roam trekking bike, you don't have to worry – the Roam can handle even more challenging terrain than smooth bike paths. Thanks to its high-quality frame, suspension fork, and hydraulic brakes, it has everything it needs to do so.
The Roam is built on a modern and lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with internal cable routing. Its geometry is designed to make the bike easy to handle and very comfortable to ride. We manufacture ALUXX frames ourselves in our own factory, so we have full control over ensuring that every frame that leaves the production line meets our high standards for quality.

Riding on rough surfaces and uneven terrain is made much more comfortable with a 50 mm suspension fork. Your comfort will also be enhanced by the D-Fuse seatpost, which dampens vibrations better than a classic round seatpost thanks to its specific "D" shape, which allows the seatpost to flex slightly under load. Giant CrossCut tires in a wider 700x42c size with increased puncture protection give you confidence on rougher roads. Fans of longer trips will certainly appreciate the option of mounting a rear rack on the bike.
Founded in 1972, Giant is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world.
Giant is the world's leading brand of high quality bicycles and cycling equipment. As part of the Giant Group, founded in 1972, the Giant brand combines craftsmanship, advanced technology and innovative design.
Giant has long been one of the leading innovators in cycling. They introduced lighter and stronger aluminium frames at a time when steel was the industry standard. They were the first to make carbon fibre bikes widely available to the world. They defined modern road bike design with Compact Road geometry. And the patented Maestro suspension revolutionized the full-suspension bike segment.

| Weight | Unfortunately, there is no standard for weighing bikes that all manufacturers adhere to, and the weights listed are often inaccurate. To find out the exact weight of a bike in a given size, you need to have the bike weighed at the store, as well as a model from a competing brand – this is the only way to get accurate figures for weight comparison. |
