Rapid is a more robust version of the CAMP Rapid Racing backpack that retains all the benefits of a racing backpack. The difference from the ultralight version is in the materials used and minor modifications that move the pack into the general popular ski mountaineering category. The padded ergonomic shoulder, back and hip straps are tuned for maximum comfort, which you'll appreciate especially on day hikes. The innovative X-Press system, which was developed with the leading race ski mountaineers who are part of the CAMP ambassador family, is used for easy and quick removal/installation. Other highlights include an internal separate crampon compartment with side Velcro entry, complete with a magnetic insert to keep the crampon in position. This pocket can be unzipped inside the pack to increase the volume of the main compartment.
