The Resolute 50 is an uncompromising gravel tyre that can handle any condition. The small square lugs provide consistent handling characteristics over a variety of terrains, while their loose spacing prevents clogging when conditions become unpredictable. A very comfortable tire that, thanks to its 50mm width, will smooth out even a rutted road in any weather.
New WTB tyre protection - SG2
In addition to its light weight, the SG2 tyre protection provides excellent protection against punctures and punctures. These tyres have a high TPI value of 120 TPI - or threads per inch - which reflects the density of fibres in the tyre carcass. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire surface of the tire from bead to bead. So you can hit any surface without worrying about punctures.
How much more durable are the new tyres with SG2? Lab tests show that the addition of the SG2 protection layer provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tires without SG2.
