1. Exceptional runtime and flexible lighting modes
   Fenix PD26R ACE offers up to seven lighting modes, from powerful Turbo at 1300 lumens to the economical Eco mode at just 1 lumen, with an incredible 556 hours of continuous operation on a single charge in this lowest mode; thanks to programmable presets (tactical, duty and outdoor profile), every user can precisely set the number and types of available modes to suit their needs.
2. Modern charging and intelligent protection
   The built-in 18350 Li-ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1600 mAh charges directly in the torch via a USB-C connector and reaches a full charge in approximately 2 hours; digital regulation ensures constant light output throughout operation, and intelligent protection automatically reduces output if the temperature exceeds 60 °C, protecting both the torch and the user.

Use
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the torch. Before first use, remove it from the battery.
To switch on, press the tactical switch at the end of the torch; for instant activation, half-press it. By pressing the side button near the head of the torch, you can at any time during operation cycle through the constant lighting modes. To switch to strobe, hold the side button for about 0.5 seconds. If you have selected Setting 3 (outdoor activities), pressing it again will then turn on SOS. Holding the side button again will return you to the constant lighting modes. The number of modes you can cycle through depends on the preset you have selected; for example, strobe can be completely disabled (see below).
Setting lighting mode presets - The SET function offers a choice of three lighting mode presets, shown in the table below.
1 - Loosen the ring under the head of the torch to reveal the hidden SET switch.
2 - With the light switched on, press the SET switch to cycle between: Setting 1 - tactical mode (Turbo mode only) → Setting 2 - duty mode (3 modes) → Setting 3 - outdoor activities (5 modes). When the torch is switched on for the first time, Setting 3 is selected from the factory.
3 - After selecting the desired preset, the corresponding indicator next to the SET button lights up green for 3 seconds to confirm the selection. This indication also shows the current number of available modes for the given Setting.
Users can independently enable or disable the ability to activate strobe. By default it is enabled in all presets.
The number of modes for each lighting preset is stated without Strobe and SOS.
Activating and deactivating Strobe mode - With the light switched on, hold the hidden SET switch for 1.2 seconds to enable/disable Strobe mode across all mode presets. The torch will flash twice to confirm the selection.
Last-used output mode memory - The torch remembers the last used output mode within the active preset. The next time it is switched on, it will activate in this mode (does not apply to Strobe and SOS).
Battery replacement - Unscrew the tailcap and insert the battery with the positive pole towards the reflector. Then fully tighten the tailcap again.

Charging
1. Unscrew the protective ring under the head of the torch to reveal the charging port and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port. After charging is complete, tighten the ring again.
2. During charging, the indicator in the side button lights red; when fully charged, it lights green. During charging, the torch can be switched on and off by holding the side switch. The tail switch does not work during charging.
3. Typical charging time for a fully discharged ARB-L18-1600 battery is about 2 hours.
Battery charge status indication - Each time the torch is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button activates for three seconds. If the indicator LED lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Flashing green means 50–85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 25–50%. Flashing red indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining. Note: Works only with Fenix 18350 batteries.
Intelligent overheating protection - If the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the output will be automatically reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output will gradually increase again.
Low battery warning - If the voltage drops below the set level, the torch will reduce brightness to a lower level. After reaching the lowest output, the battery status indicator will start flashing red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the head of the torch yourself, as this will void the warranty.
Keep the torch out of reach of children!
Do not shine the torch directly into your own or anyone else’s eyes!
Loosen the tailcap by half a turn or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
Use only the original protected 18350 Li-ion rechargeable battery.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these rules will ensure the torch is properly protected against water.
If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost discharged – recharge or replace the battery.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
- The head, body or tail of the torch is loose – apply lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the tail of the torch firmly.
