The base is a highly durable Spectra® Ripstop fabric that resists not only tears but also UV rays, which is essential when moving at high altitudes. The ergonomic TRI-FLEX™ back system, complete with contoured lumbar padding and a supportive waist belt, efficiently distributes weight across the body for maximum wearing comfort. Plus, thanks to the handy roll-up closure, the pack's volume can be easily adjusted to suit the load's current needs.
Spectra® fibres, combined with Cordura, form an extremely strong fabric that is up to 15 times stronger than steel at the same weight. The TRI-FLEX™ system is lightweight yet provides excellent support, fits tightly to the back and allows complete freedom of movement, even when carrying a heavy load.

The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.
But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements.
