(Note: QOM stands for Queen of the Mountain and is used as a designation for the fastest rider on a given segment).

Advanced Composite Technology In our own carbon processing factory we use top-quality raw carbon with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to produce custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and cured in the mould as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a patented manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
	Compact Road Design When Giant introduced the Compact Road design in the 1990s, it changed the look and feel of performance road bikes forever. The sloping top tube (from the head tube to the seat tube) creates a smaller front and consequently rear frame triangle, resulting in a lighter and stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders with different proportions to achieve an ideal riding position.
PowerCore The massive oversized bottom bracket and rear triangle area features a fully integrated bottom bracket design with a width of 86.5 mm (92 mm on MTB bikes). The asymmetric rear triangle provides higher stiffness on the drivetrain side and better stability on the opposite side.
