The Fenix LD35R is a powerful multifunctional torch that offers three types of light – main white, side white and coloured side – to handle a wide range of situations from outdoor activities to workshop use. 1. Three light types for every situation
   The main white light with an output of up to 1800 lumens and a beam distance of 337 metres provides illumination over long distances, while two side COB light strips allow both one-sided lighting of a work area and wide 360° area lighting, and the coloured side light with red and blue signalling is useful for emergencies or orientation in the field.

   The torch body is made from durable A6061-T6 aluminium alloy with a Type III hard-anodised finish that resists even heavy scratching, while IP68 waterproofing for submersion to 2 metres and impact resistance for drops from 1 metre are complemented by a strong magnet on the rear for attaching to metal surfaces and ceramic tips in the strike bezel for emergencies.

Using the Fenix LD35R torch
From the factory, there may be an insulating tab inside the torch on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.
On/off and switching output modes - To switch the light on or off, press and hold the button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch output modes at any time during operation with a short press of the button.
Switching between the main light, side coloured light and side white light is done using the selector lever.
Last mode memory - In main white mode, the torch memorises three basic modes: 20, 100 and 350 lumens. The side lights always switch on in the lowest mode.
Lock/unlock - To prevent accidental activation (e.g. in luggage), quickly press the button twice (the torch must be off). The torch will then flash in eco mode to indicate it is locked. Unlock by quickly double-pressing the button again; the torch will switch on in the lowest mode of whichever mode the rotary selector is currently set to. Accidental activation can also be prevented by loosening the torch tailcap.
Battery replacement - Unscrew the tailcap and insert the battery with the positive pole towards the head. Then fully tighten the tailcap again.
Charging - Lift the dust cover and connect the USB-C charging cable to the torch’s charging port. After charging, seal the dust cover again. Typical charging time for the included ARB-L18-3400 battery is 3 hours with a 5 V/2 A USB power source. During charging, the indicator lights red. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns green. During charging, the torch can be used in any mode except strobe; depending on the battery charge level, not all modes may be available and the total charging time will increase.
Battery charge level indication - When the torch is off, a short press of the button will activate the battery level indication for three seconds. Green indicates sufficient charge (100% - 85%), flashing green (85% - 50%), steady red (50% - 25%) and flashing red a critically discharged battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is discharged, the torch will gradually and automatically switch to lower output modes; in the lowest mode, the battery indicator then flashes red to signal that the battery needs to be recharged or replaced. Works only with original batteries.
Intelligent overheat protection - During prolonged use of the torch on high output modes, a large amount of heat builds up. When the torch reaches a temperature of 60 °C or higher, it automatically reduces output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output gradually increases again.

Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the torch head yourself; doing so will void the warranty.
Use only the above high-drain rechargeable 18650 Li-ion batteries.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these rules will ensure the torch is properly protected against water.
If the torch does not switch to higher output modes, flashes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost discharged - recharge it.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The rear part of the torch is loose – tighten it.
