The cut is carefully considered and the pre-shaped knees and back provide maximum freedom of movement. The cut is tailored to be worn over, for example, G-1000 trekking trousers. Long two-way waterproof zippers on the sides release excess heat and make dressing/undressing easier.

There is a Velcro adjustment at the waist and an easy-to-use flat buckle belt that fits well under a climbing harness or pack hip belt. Two zippered pockets keep small items close at hand. Cordura reinforcements at the ends of the legs and on the inside of the legs protect against wear and tear from boots and crampons. There is a button at the bottom and a hidden drawstring to adjust the width of the legs.
