Excellent ventilation and an all-mesh door make it a great alternative even for adventures in the tropics. The shell and inner tent are connected, making it easy to set up. The three-pole construction makes the tent self-supporting and easy to move around until you find the perfect position.

The pole sleeves are large enough for double poles (accessories), so the tent can withstand stronger winds and larger amounts of snow on the roof. With extra large ground loops and anchor points, you can use skis or poles to anchor the tent in the snow. All pulls and ropes are sized to be easily handled even with thick winter gloves.

The ropes are woven with reflective yarn and extra reflectors at the vents and doors make the tent visible in the darker months of the year. The tent pegs are also extra long and wide for a good grip on difficult terrain. Two spacious vestibules and a generous ceiling height ensure comfortable living in the tent. Entrances on two sides mean you can use the leeward entrance in stormy weather.

A removable mesh shelf in the ceiling of the inner tent provides convenient storage space for equipment. Ventilation is excellent and fully adjustable thanks to large openings at different heights. All openings have fine mesh and can be covered with a fly sheet on the outside if the tent is used in snow or sand.

In warm weather, the doors can be fastened in the half-open position - the zippers have an automatic locking function so they don't 'sag' in strong winds - for extra ventilation without rain getting into the inner tent. Thanks to the mosquito net in the door with the flap, you can be in the vestibule without too many insects visiting you, which is as practical in summer mountains as in tropical climates.

The outer canvas is made from Fjällräven's new high-performance nylon TripleRip fabric. Its innovative construction combines two weights of fabric for optimum strength; 40 denier at the top with 70 denier reinforcements at the bottom where ground abrasion is highest. Like all Fjällräven tents, the Keb Dome 2 is made completely free of PVC plastics and toxic flame retardants, and its impregnation is fluorocarbon-free.
