Ice Line is a lightweight dynamic 8.1 mm rope certified as a half rope only. With full Golden Dry impregnation (core and braid impregnation), Beal Ice Line halves are suitable for ice climbing, mixes or classic mountain routes. All Ice Line variants are equipped with UNICORE® technology, which improves the safety and durability of the rope by combining the core and braid.
The Golden Dry impregnation meets the international UIAA Water Repellent standard with a 3% water absorption rate.
