Incognito® was created because the founders experienced first-hand the disadvantages of using synthetic repellents. One of them contracted malaria and subsequently dengue fever within a year (in Thailand and India) while using deet and taking anti-malaria medication.
The other, meanwhile, was on holiday on a trip to South America, using Deet and natural repellent.
