The new KEEN trekking shoes from the new Spring 2016 collection impress with their cool design and perfect comfort. The MADEIRA TRAIL model is made with the original direct injection technology, whereby the upper of the shoe, made of the highest quality waterproof nubuck leather, is firmly bonded to the sole with a fused polyurethane compound, which, when cooled, forms a durable midsole.
The midsole features an integrated heel cushioning, which ensures perfect walking comfort, even on difficult terrain. The outsole is then made of two rubber compounds of different hardness and guarantees good traction and safe movement in more challenging terrain.
The inside of the shoe is made of the highest quality leather, which guarantees perfect comfort and durability. The shoe features a removable, ultra-lightweight EVA footbed, under which is a stabilizing reinforcement that runs through the shoe from heel to toe and helps to stiffen the shoe when moving on unpaved terrain. There are also metal eyelets and hooks at the lacing that underline the uniqueness of this model.
