The Gashebrum 2 two-layer expedition boot from La Sportiva was designed in collaboration with Italian alpinist Simon Moroe. It is the ideal choice for expedition expeditions to extreme alpine conditions and for those who work long hours in very cold conditions.
The G2 SM is the first boot on the market to offer an innovative construction where the insole is housed in a boot that features a BOA® closure system, all hidden in a stretchable waterproof and abrasion-resistant liner. The insole itself is very comfortable and provides excellent thermal comfort. The outer liner has a BOA® pull-on system that can be operated with one hand, which comes in handy especially in extreme conditions.
The upper shell of the boot itself is made of Cordura®, a highly stretchable material that is water repellent and abrasion resistant. The boot is of course compatible with automatic crampons and will certainly not let you down even in the most extreme conditions, where parameters such as waterproofness, abrasion resistance, excellent thermal comfort and comfort are very important.
