DEUTER Zugspitze 22 SL aubergine-lion - women's hiking backpack

New model of women's backpack from the Zugspitze series from the spring 2016 collection. This is a classic hiking backpack, which has been around under this name since 1984, when DEUTER revolutionized the hiking backpack. From that year to the present day, the backpack has been upgraded several times to the form we know today.

The backpack is ideal for hiking. It features an Aircomfort back system with premium ventilation, several zippered pockets, anatomically shaped shoulder straps, a waist belt, or a removable raincoat.

Deuter Aircomfort Advanced
Shaped and softly padded shoulder straps. Durable, flexible steel frame gives the pack a lightweight structure. A mesh back panel and premium ventilation that disperses hot air to three sides give the pack great carrying comfort. There's also a contoured waist belt with ventilation pads for ideal fit and stability.

SL Women's Fit System
Round edges on the straps, smaller buckles and narrow tapered strap ends prevent underarm chafing and eliminate pressure points in the chest area. Women's backs are on average not as long as men's so the SL carry system is slightly shorter than conventional backpacks. Due to women's height, the shoulder straps are also narrowed to prevent the backpack from slipping.
