The new DETER ACT Lite is a sporty, sleek and lightweight backpack suitable for hiking and high-altitude climbing.

The X frame made of aluminium alloy ensures strength and the Vari Quick system adapts to the length of the torso. The aircontact system features a dual-layer foam construction to promote airflow and keep you dry. The backpack is made of nylon and polyester. The bottom section is then double-layered and abrasion resistant.

The waist belt includes zippered pockets for small items like a compass or personal electronic devices, while external loops allow you to attach ice axes or hiking poles. There are also additional loops to provide space for things like a helmet holder.
