There are two stretch pockets on the sides for snacks and everything else you need to keep handy. There are also loops on the LITE 18 that allow you to attach walking sticks etc.

  Deuter Aircomfort Advanced
  Shaped and softly padded shoulder straps. Durable, flexible steel frame gives the pack a lightweight structure. A mesh back panel and premium ventilation that disperses hot air to three sides give the pack great carrying comfort. There is also a contoured waist belt with ventilation pads for ideal fit and stability.
