When the Wall Rider MIPS helmet is subjected to an oblique impact, the outer shell slides over the inner layer of the helmet. This means that part of the rotational forces acting on the head are redirected and absorbed during impact. The MIPS construction combines a cushioning EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) core with a semi-hard shell for maximum safety.
