KATADYN Hiker Pro is the best-selling microfilter in the US outdoor market. The filter is now available as a transparent (see-through) filter allowing you to monitor the filtration process. It is a relatively small filter, weighing no more than 233 grams, but provides unexpectedly high performance due to its wide filtering area.

It reliably eliminates bacteria, cysts and sediments from water. Maintenance of the filter outdoors is very easy thanks to the washable protective mesh, which also significantly extends the life of the 0.2micron fibreglass filter cartridge. The activated carbon contained in the cartridge then improves the taste of the water and eliminates odours (the carbon cannot be replaced separately).

Installation and removal of the inlet and outlet tubing is more than easy thanks to the quick couplers. Included in the package is a pre-filter, washable protective mesh for the filter element, 2 sets of quick connect tubing, Easy Fill(TM) bottle adapter and travel case.
