It has a security pocket and ventilation mesh on the back. The main zippered compartment has an open pocket and key clip. It can be collapsed into its own pocket, so it takes up minimal space in a bag or backpack when not in use.
The seams are not taped and the zipper is not waterproof, but the main fabric itself is waterproof, so the kidney offers good protection from rain.
