• The light sources are LED Luminus SST-40 (6500 K) and OSRAM GW PUSTA1.PM (3000 K) both with a 50,000 hour light life.
• The main reflector produces a light cone with a range of 170 metres (7353 cd), the secondary reflector illuminates up to 112 metres (3155 cd).
• The headlamp comes with a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a 3400mAh capacity.
• Any Fenix 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery from our range can be purchased as a replacement battery.

Using the Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 headlamp
There may be an insulating cap on the battery pack from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
The main headlamp is switched on by holding the right button (approx. 0.5s), the warm tint headlamp is switched on by holding the left button (0.5s). The headlamp always switches on in the lowest power mode. The light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. Both headlights cannot be switched on at the same time and can be switched between them by pressing the corresponding button. The SOS mode is activated by holding any switch for at least 1.2 seconds.
Battery indication - A short press of any button (the headlamp must be switched off) will activate the LED battery indicator between the buttons. Four lit LEDs indicate the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.
Thecontrol buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold for at least 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash to indicate locking. To unlock, both buttons must be held down again for three seconds.
Overheat protection: if the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 60°C it automatically starts to reduce power in gradual steps until the temperature stabilises. Once the temperature drops below 60°C it can be switched to higher power modes again.
Low battery warning: when the voltage drops below a certain threshold it will automatically switch to a lower power mode, if the battery status indicator starts flashing during the light the battery is almost dead.
Charging. When charging is complete, all four are lit. It takes approximately 3 hours to charge a fully discharged battery. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low main or warm spotlight mode.
Use the rotary wheel to adjust the length of the head strap: Turn the dial counterclockwise to tighten the strap. Turn the dial clockwise to loosen the strap. Turning the wheel again after the strap has been loosened as far as possible will start to tighten the strap again and reverse the direction of loosening and tightening.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will violate the warranty.
Use only high quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, if using disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp.
If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead - charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
