The power modes of the switched-on light color can then be switched by briefly pressing the switch. The light is switched off again by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds. Memory for the last power mode setting - The headlamp has a memory and will turn on in the last power mode set for the respective reflector, with the exception of the highest high beam mode and red light modes.
Intelligent proximity sensor - The headlamp has a built-in safety circuit. When the spotlight is less than 6 cm away from the illuminated object for more than 1.5 seconds, it automatically reduces the power to 30 lumens to prevent overheating and possible burns or damage to the illuminated object. When the flashlight moves away from the illuminated object for more than 0.8 seconds, it automatically resumes the previously used power mode.
Turning the proximity sensor on/off - With the headlamp turned off, press and hold the electronic switch for 6 seconds. The headlamp will flash twice, indicating that the function is turned on. To turn the function off again, press and hold the electronic switch for 6 seconds while the headlamp is turned off. The headlamp will flash 8 times, indicating that the function is turned off.
Replacing the battery - Unscrew the battery cap of the headlamp and insert the battery according to the marked polarity. Then tighten the cap completely again.
Charging - Remove the dust cover and connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the headlamp. When charging is complete, replace the dust cover. The indicator lights up red during charging. When fully charged, it lights up green. The normal charging time is 2 hours with a 5V/1A USB source for a completely discharged headlamp. The headlamp can be used while charging, but this will extend the charging time and the available power modes will depend on the current battery charge level. Note: Fenix 18350 and 16340/RCR123A (3.6-3.7V) batteries can be charged.
Battery charge status indication - Each time the headlamp is turned on, or after pressing the button when the headlamp is off, the indicator LED activates for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 80% charged. A green flash indicates 50-80% capacity. If it glows red, it is charged to 20-50%. A red flash indicates that less than 20% of the battery capacity remains. Works only with Fenix 18350 and 16340/RCR123A rechargeable batteries.
Intelligent overheating protection - During prolonged use of the headlamp at high power modes, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C or higher, it automatically reduces the power by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55°C, the power will gradually increase again. Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will reduce the brightness to a lower level. When the lowest output is reached, the battery status indicator will flash red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. Only works with Fenix 18350 and 16340/RCR123A rechargeable batteries. Warning:Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty. Use only high-quality Li-ion 18350 batteries.
