Usage
A black insulating cap may be present on the battery inside the flashlight from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
- When the headlamp is off, press and hold the button for 0.5 seconds to turn it on in the last-used white light mode.
- When the headlamp is off, press the button twice quickly to turn it on in the last-used red light mode.
- When the headlamp is on, press and hold the button for 0.5 seconds to turn it off.
When the headlamp is on, short presses of the button cycle through the output modes in the order of 3 - 50 - 160 - 450 - 860 lumens (when turned on to white light) or 1-lumen red - red 10 lumens - red flashing - red SOS (when switched to red light). The headlamp has a memory and always turns on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).
Overheating protection: When the headlamp is used for extended periods at high power modes, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 60 °C or higher, it automatically reduces the output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60 °C , the output gradually increases again.
Battery charge status indicator: Pressing the button briefly (the headlamp must be off) activates the LED indicator in the button. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. A green flashing light indicates 50–85% capacity. If it glows red, the battery is charged to 20–50%. A red flashing light indicates that less than 20% of the battery capacity remains. The indicator works correctly only with rechargeable RCR123A / 16340 batteries.
Charging: Lift the rubber cap on the charging connector and plug the included cable into the flashlight (USB-C connector); plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank, or USB adapter for a power outlet or car (not included). During charging, the side button glows red; once fully charged, it glows green. After charging the flashlight, reseal the charging port with the rubber cap. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 2 hours. In an emergency, the headlamp can be used while charging, but only the white 3- and 50-lumen modes and the red modes will be available.
Low Battery Warning: If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp automatically switches to lower power modes. If the headlamp is already in the lowest power mode and the battery is critically low, the indicator in the button will begin to flash red. However, the headlamp will continue to shine until the battery is completely discharged. Note: The low battery warning is calibrated only for the voltage of rechargeable Li-ion batteries.
Locking the headlamp to prevent accidental activation: Loosen the headlamp’s battery cover by a quarter turn; this breaks the electrical contact and prevents the headlamp from turning on. The button can also be locked electronically—with the headlamp off, hold the button down for 3 seconds. After locking, the headlamp will flash red. To unlock, hold the button down for 3 seconds again.

Warning
Keep this headlamp out of the reach of children.
Do not shine the headlamp directly into anyone’s eyes.
Do not disassemble the sealed section in the head of the headlamp yourself, as this will void the warranty.
Lock the headlamp or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation if the headlamp is placed in a confined and flammable environment, such as pockets and backpacks!
Do not shine the light on flammable objects from close range to avoid damaging them or creating a hazard due to high temperatures.
If using a disposable CR123A battery, do not attempt to recharge it in the flashlight.
If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these guidelines will ensure the flashlight is properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is nearly dead – recharge or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The rear of the flashlight is loose – tighten it.
