The innovative gaiters feature allows you to adapt the trousers to different types of weather and terrain. In warm weather, the bottom of the legs can be unzipped to turn the trousers into shorts, just like a regular pair of zipped trousers.

The detachable part has a drawstring adjustment at the calf, which, together with the boot hook at the end of the leg, turns this part into gaiters that can protect the legs in terrain full of bushes, both in the mountains and in the jungle. In colder weather conditions, the pants can be worn over the base layer and the zippers along the thighs can be opened for ventilation.

The two large pockets on the legs can fit a map, compass, etc. In addition to a hidden boot hook, the ends of the legs have eyelets to which laces or metal loops can be attached - another way to secure the legs and prevent dew or snow from pushing through the insole.

As with all our Numbers garments, fabrics and details have been selected to minimise their environmental impact - for example, most leather details are made from leftover leather - and to make it easy to replace exposed parts after years of use.
