The aluminium Fuel EX frameset is the foundation for the MTB of your wildest dreams. Fit this classic with 145/150 mm suspension travel and 29-inch wheels and you get the versatile EX configuration. In the MX configuration with 150/160 mm travel and different wheel sizes front and rear, you’ll be quicker and more agile on the trail. The LX configuration with 29-inch wheels and 160/170 mm travel then gives you the option to ride full tilt over just about anything. It’s entirely up to you. You can tailor the Fuel to suit your intentions.

Customise your bike, ride, repeat
Only you can decide what your ideal trail bike looks like. That’s why Fuel is available in three adjustable variants. EX delivers versatility, MX loves jumps. And LX sails through absolutely anything.

Adjustable leverage curve
Want to use the full travel while keeping sensitivity to small bumps? Flip the chip on the lower shock mount to get a more progressive leverage ratio.

Zero Stack integrated headset
With the standard ZS headset you have plenty of upgrade options using aftermarket parts, including angle adjustment or anodised colours.

Storage and accessory mounts
All Fuel models, carbon and aluminium, feature in-frame storage so you can carry the essentials. Accessory mounts on the top tube let you take even more.

New frame design
The new Fuel frame offers plenty of room for long dropper posts, larger shocks, frame bags and other accessories.

Active Braking Pivot
The Active Braking Pivot system allows our technicians to tune the suspension so it responds to acceleration and braking independently. The result is confident handling.

A better way to make aluminium
In 2024 we began replacing high-emissions aluminium in production with low-emissions aluminium made using renewable energy sources. From October 2025 we have been making almost all our alloy bikes, including this model, in this new way, leading to a significant reduction in our carbon footprint.
