The TFP-100 chain whip from CONTEC is used when a Shimano HG cassette is to be dismantled. It is necessary as a counterholder so that the cassette does not continue to rotate in the freewheel when the locking ring of a Shimano HG cassette is opened, for example, with the TFP-110 sprocket remover tool.
The tool from CONTEC's Tools for professionals series is made of steel, has an ergonomic grip part, and its chain whip part is compatible with cassettes from 5 to 11 sprockets.
